Two Arrested for Drugs in Battambang

Battambang: The Battambang Anti-Drug Force, in cooperation with the Raksmey Songha Administrative Police Station of Rattanak Mondul District Police Inspectorate conducted a drug raid on Thursday, netting two suspects for illegal possession of drugs.

Authorities say the raid happened in Pich Changva Village in the Raksmey Sanghar commune of Battambang’s Rattanak Mondul district. The suspects have been named as 34-year-old Pheng Phas and 30-year-old Thi Tha. Both live in the village.

During the raid, two 4.29mg bags of methamphetamine (ICE) were seized, along with a drug scale and a mobile phone. The suspects are being detained while the specialized force of the Battambang Provincial Police prepares the case for court.
